چکیده

Aim:We aimed to investigate the prevalence of anemia at admission intensive care unit (ICU), association between and mortality, lengths stay in hospital ICU (LOS-H LOS-ICU) COVID-19 patients.
Material Methods:We retrospectively analyzed data 288 patients who needed admission. Patients were divided into two groups: anemic nonanemic. Demographic data, labaratory findings admission, LOS-H LOS-ICU, mortality compared groups. A further classification was made based on hemoglobin levels; severe, moderate mild analyzed. LOS-H, LOS-ICU with > 109 g/L ≤ g/L. Thus; severe nonanemic patients.
Results: Anemia detected 137 (47.6%) upon ICU. Of those; 54 (39.4%) had mild, 76 (55.5%) moderate, 7 (5.1%) anemia. Anemic older, multiple comorbidities, lower albumin, higher red cell distribution width (RDW), creatinine procalcitonin levels. While rates did not significantly differ patients; rate high levels (moderate anemic) a level (mild nonanemic). different these patient Only seven all died.
Conclusion: The results this retrospective study showed that high, associated rates, while were. Hemoglobin should be closely monitored for timely detecting signs disease progression.

Moderate to severe, but not mild, maternal anemia is associated with increased risk of small-for-gestational-age outcomes.

Anemia is highly prevalent globally, estimated at 40-50% in women of reproductive age. Prior studies have produced inconclusive evidence as to the association between maternal anemia and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). We conducted a systematic review of the literature containing associations between maternal anemia and small for gestational age (SGA) outcomes (as a proxy for IUGR). A m...

Clinical Effect and Mechanism of Yisui Shengxue Granules in Thalassemia Patients with Mild, Moderate, or Severe Anemia.

Yisui Shengxue granules, which is a Chinese traditional medicine, can increase hemoglobin, red blood cells, and Ret of thalassemia patients with mild, moderate, and severe anemia and thus relieve clinical anemia symptoms. Studies on mechanism found that Yisui Shengxue granules can increase the proliferation ability of hematopoietic stem cells. Emodin promoted colony forming of hematopoietic ste...
